Acceptable Use Policy

Guidelines for responsible and lawful use of our services.

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of all services provided by Bluix Group LTD (Company No. 17097946). This policy is designed to protect Bluix, its customers, and the internet community from irresponsible or illegal activities.

All users of Bluix services must comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of services without prior notice or refund.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not use Bluix services to store, distribute, or transmit any content that:

  • Is illegal under UK law or the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is accessed
  • Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way
  • Promotes terrorism, violence, or hatred against any individual or group
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (pirated software, media, etc.)
  • Contains malware, viruses, trojans, or other malicious code
  • Is defamatory, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading
  • Violates any applicable data protection or privacy laws

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Spam and Unsolicited Email: Sending bulk unsolicited emails, operating open mail relays, or any form of spam distribution
  • Network Abuse: Port scanning, packet sniffing, IP spoofing, or any form of network probing without authorization
  • DDoS / DoS Attacks: Launching or facilitating denial-of-service attacks from or toward our infrastructure
  • Resource Abuse: Running processes that consume excessive CPU, memory, bandwidth, or disk resources beyond your plan limits in a way that degrades service for others
  • Cryptocurrency Mining: Mining cryptocurrency on shared or VPS hosting plans unless explicitly permitted by your service agreement
  • Phishing: Hosting phishing pages or engaging in identity theft schemes
  • Open Proxies/VPN for Abuse: Operating open proxies or VPN services used to facilitate illegal activity or circumvent restrictions
  • Unauthorized Access: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, network, or account

4. Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and your services. This includes:

  • Keeping all software, CMS, and plugins up to date
  • Using strong, unique passwords for all accounts
  • Promptly addressing any security vulnerabilities in your applications
  • Reporting any suspected security breaches to our team immediately

Bluix reserves the right to suspend services that pose a security risk to our infrastructure or other customers, even if the account holder is not directly at fault (e.g., compromised websites).

5. Resource Usage

Shared hosting resources are designed for normal website operation. If your usage significantly exceeds normal patterns, we may contact you to discuss upgrading to a more appropriate plan. We reserve the right to limit or throttle resources to ensure fair use for all customers.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

7. Enforcement

Bluix reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a use of our services violates this AUP. Depending on the severity, enforcement actions may include:

  • A written warning with a deadline to resolve the issue
  • Temporary suspension of services
  • Permanent termination of services without refund
  • Reporting illegal activity to the relevant authorities

8. Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
